Published every other week during the academic year, Basement Medicine is Johnson State College’s student and community newspaper. Student journalists cover it all, from the serious to the downright goofy, and everything in between.
In addition to providing the college with the latest news, Basement Medicine also functions as a hands-on class for our Communications and Community Media majors. Students learn all aspects of contemporary journalism, from reporting and editing, to digital production and distribution. The Basement Medicine office is located on the third floor of the Willey Library and Learning Center, along with other classes and offices in the Writing & Literature Department.
Where to Find Basement Medicine
