Fall Orientation takes place the weekend before classes start in August. Lasting Friday through Sunday, it’s a weekend packed with new information and new experiences — all designed to orient you to campus life and the kind of college-level thinking expected of you once classes start. And it’s a LOT of fun.
You’ll learn your way around campus, get the lowdown on the best places to study and hang out with friends, meet with your academic advisor and more. Info-packed sessions will be mixed in with games, parties, concerts and discussion groups about this year’s Common Book, The Promise of a Pencil. This will be an unforgettable weekend where you’ll meet some of your new best friends, learn the ropes from student Orientation leaders and others who have “been there, done that,” and start getting to know your new home away from home.
