Need a laugh? The Burlington-based Vermont Comedy Club will bring some of the state’s most hilarious standup comedians to Johnson State College on Thursday, Oct. 23. The free show starts at 8 p.m. in Stearns Student Center’s Performance Space. Donations will support the JSC Student Emergency Fund.
The lineup includes Nathan Hartswick, winner of the Higher Ground Comedy Battle; Henrique Cezar, chair and associate professor of JSC’s Business & Economics Department; Tim Bridge, a young, up-and-coming comedian; Taylor Scribner, semifinalist for Vermont’s Funniest Comedian; Will Betts, finalist for Vermont’s Funniest Comedian; and Kyle Gagnon, winner of the Higher Ground Comedy Battle.
