Johnson State College’s theater students and faculty will present Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All in the college’s Dibden Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 13-14.
The performance is open to the public. Tickets are $5 general admission or free with a JSC ID.
Christopher Durang’s 1979 play explores the impact of dogma on the lives of the students of Sister Mary Ignatius, a by-the-book nun. Frank Rich of The New York Times called Sister Mary Ignatius an “angry play that remains funny and controlled even in its most savage moments.”
