“Coastal Excavation,” artwork by Johnson State College Master of Fine Arts student Melissa Fairgrieve, will be displayed Oct. 2-20 in the Julian Scott Memorial Gallery at the Dibden Center for the Arts on campus.
A reception and artist’s talk, free and open to the public as is the exhibit, will be held at the gallery 4-6 p.m. Oct. 3.
The thesis exhibit will feature large, multiple-piece works in oil and graphite on paper by the Middletown, Rhode Island, artist.
