On July 1, 2018, Johnson State will unify with Lyndon State College to become Northern Vermont University. Tuition and Fees for Full-time Undergraduate Students for the 2018-19 Academic Year

** Not included in mandatory fees: $360 orientation fee (called a matriculation fee at Lyndon), a one-time fee paid during first semester at NVU. $2,140 health insurance fee (for current year - projected, not finalized), mandatory for full-time undergraduate students without coverage.
- Students will spend an average of $500 per semester on books and supplies.
- Students will also spend an average of $100 on course fees per semester—varies by course/major.

Note that full time = 12 to 18 credits per semester; part time = 1 to 11 credits per semester. All costs are per year (fall and spring semesters) unless otherwise noted.

Course Fees for Classes Taken through the Vermont Woodworking School
For the 2017-18 year, a course fee of $700 per credit will be added to Fine Woodworking and Furniture Design courses to cover materials and tools.
