Biology is the study of life in all its configurations, from microscopic cells to the Earth’s largest mammals. Biology opens doors to some of our most fundamental mysteries: How did we evolve to our present state, and what does say about our future? How do plants and animals adapt to extreme conditions and manage to carry on? What causes genes to mutate and suddenly go rogue? These are important questions with equally important answers — answers biology seeks to unravel.
As a biology major at Johnson State College, you’ll concentrate in General Biology, Pre-Medical Biology, or Biology: Field Naturalist.
