We’ll help you determine what you need to do before the interview to increase your chances that you get an offer!
The Job or Internship Search
Searching for a job or internship can seem like a full-time job in and of itself! You’ll need to invest time, energy, patience and organization into the process. Additionally, this is one case where there is strength in numbers, so you’ll want to apply for many positions to increase the likelihood of getting an interview and an offer. Ultimately it’s up to you to get the job, but through the process, the Office of Career Development will support your search and help you stay organized and positive!
Life after JSC
College life keeps you busy, and it can be hard to remember that there’s a new path waiting for you at the end of your four years. But now is the time to be planning for your life after JSC! Some graduates choose to do a year or two of service learning. Some go right into the workforce. And others enter a graduate program for further studies. Whichever direction you take, the Office of Career Development will support you along the way. And it’s never too late to come back for advice on changing careers — JSC graduates are always welcome to use our services.
