As a Clarkson University 4+1 partner institution, Johnson State College shares an articulation agreement ensuring that JSC students can plan their undergraduate program to include courses that serve as prerequisites for the Clarkson MBA. By meeting these requirements, students will be able to complete the Clarkson M.B.A. in one year.
Even if you are not a business major or have never taken a business course, you may still qualify for the 4+1 opportunity. Clarkson evaluates every applicant’s transcript for courses that satisfy its M.B.A. prerequisites. Any prerequisite courses that are missing can be taken online, at no cost, through Clarkson’s Summer Business Concepts program.
As an added incentive, JSC graduates who enroll in the Clarkson M.B.A. program will automatically receive a 4+1 Fellowship. This includes:
- $10,000 tuition scholarship
- $4,000 travel scholarship
- Guaranteed paid position as a graduate assistant that pays up to $3,000
- A streamlined application process
Clarkson also will consider students for additional merit-based scholarships.
