Psychology Internships (PSY 2810/PSY 4810) allow students to gain real-world experience while completing degree requirements. Interns gain experience that connects classroom theories and concepts while enhancing resumes and portfolios. Graduates with relevant work experience through internships have a tremendous edge in a competitive job market.
Internships are paired with the Senior Seminar in Psychology (PSY 4770). This one-credit course allows students to expand on the general knowledge gained within the psychology major via an internship experience. The seminar allows interns to process their internship and learn about classmates’ experiences relevant to current professional and theoretical activity in the field.
