Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, plus one to two years of relevant commercial/institutional custodial experience required. 
  • Final offer of employment is subject to a fingerprint-supported criminal background check and pre-employment physical.

Examples of Work Performed

Clean and perform routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks for all campus buildings, including residence halls, classrooms, and administrative offices.

Vacuum, sweep, dust, mop, wash, strip, wax, buff floors, wash windows, walls, chalkboards, trash cans, dust furniture, fixtures, woodwork, empty trash receptacles, pick up litter in and around buildings, clean and stock bathrooms, change and clean shower curtains, replace light bulbs, move furniture, and perform related duties as assigned.

Men’s Tennis Coach

Part-time, non-benefited position

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be in charge of all aspects of the men’s tennis program and will develop and implement all aspects of the tennis program.  Men’s tennis season is played in the spring term beginning 2011.

  • Responsibilities include the direction of the men’s tennis program: including recruitment of quality student athletes, retention, fund raising, pre and post season conditioning programs, and the organizing and planning of practices and game strategies.
  • This position will be responsible for monitoring academic performance of student athletes.  This includes overseeing of class attendance, grades, class performance and study habits to encourage the attainment of a degree and maintain athletics eligibility.
  • The head coach will be responsible for initializing and supervising community service projects in coordination with the athletic department.
  • This candidate will have the knowledge and adherence to comply with NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
  • This position reports to the Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director and may have other duties assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.  Collegiate playing/coaching experience preferred.
