Qualifications:

  • Although a doctorate is desirable, the successful candidate must possess at least a Master's degree.

  • A theory pedagogue with strong skills as a performing, collaborative pianist is preferred.

Examples of Work Performed:

  • Teach and refine curriculum for music theory, sight-singing and ear training courses, teach applied piano and keyboard harmony, as well as accompany student recitals and choral ensembles.

  • Demonstrate skills in leadership, collaboration, problem solving, and experience in student recruitment.

  • A commitment to diversity and inclusive practices is also expected, as is participation in the college-wide commitment to early and ongoing student success.
