Candidates for this position should have a Master’s degree at the time of appointment and a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.


Examples of Work Performed:


Teach a class in soil science. Instructor should be able to teach the basic physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil system including soil formation, soil texture & structure, soil classification, colloidal chemistry, organic matter & nutrients.

The instructor would also need to explore the relationship between soil properties and environmental and agricultural issues and how this affects management decisions.
