Residence Halls
Each year, about 540 students live on the Johnson State College campus in one of our residence halls or on-campus apartments. All of the residence halls are smoke-free, and all but one have a laundry room and a recreation room with a pool table, foosball and ping pong. Rooms are fully furnished and offer all the conveniences you'd expect, too, including cable TV hook ups, phone services with voice mail, and high-speed Internet (and wireless, in some cases) capability.
To help ensure that life in the dorms is healthy and happy for everyone, each residence hall employs a team of Resident Assistants (RAs) and a Hall Advisor (HA). HAs are graduate assistants who live and work in the residence halls. RA's are students who live on each floor. Both work closely with each other and with the Office of Residence Life to help make your living environment safe and comfortable.
