International Student Services

Though studying outside of your home country can be challenging, there are many rewards. Not only do you learn about a new culture, but you teach your new community about your own culture.

At Johnson State College, we are committed to encouraging the enrollment and participation of international students. We are also committed to helping you adjust to your new surroundings.

JSC offers international students a range of services, including:

  • Orientation to campus and community life;
  • Support for cultural and academic adjustment, including coursework in English as a Second Language (ESL) and ESL tutoring support;
  • Advice and assistance with career, immigration and visa matters;
  • Advocacy on behalf of international student needs and multicultural perspectives on campus.
