Summer

The Johnson State College New Student Orientation program is designed to welcome new students and their families to the college.

During Summer Orientation students receive their fall class schedule, meet other first-year and transfer students, learn about the MyJSC Portal (JSC's internal website), academic life, and community expectations.


Students are required to attend one of the mandatory Summer Orientation sessions. The dates for 2013's Summer Orientation are July 12 and July 26.


Fall

All students are also required to attend Fall Orientation, which is scheduled the weekend before classes begin. Tours, information sessions, book discussion groups and lots of fun activities make this weekend a great way to kick off your first year at JSC! The dates for 2013's Fall Orientation are August 23-26. More information will be posted on the MyJSC Portal soon.
