Campus Alerts
Johnson State College now offers students, faculty and staff a mass-alert system to quickly and efficiently communicate information about school closings, weather advisories and emergency situations.
JSC community members can subscribe to this service on the Web site and choose how they prefer to receive these updates — via cell phone or e-mail. Alerts will also be displayed on the JSC Web site. (Click here to view messages.)
New User?
If you would like to receive campus alerts on your cell phone or via e-mail, you must be a member of the JSC student, faculty or staff community. This is a free service, but your cell carrier may charge a nominal fee for text messages receieved.
Please note: You will need to have your cell phone with you when you register for this service.
To register:
1) Login to Blackboard
2) Click on the JSC Resources tab.
You will see a Campus Alerts registration form in the right-hand column. Follow the instructions from there.
