Connecting to wireless on the JSC campus
1) Enable your wireless network adapter on your device.
2) Search for available networks.
3) Select either JSC-Guest or JSC-Secure
If using JSC-Secure, you will be asked for a username and password, enter your JSC username and password. You will also have to accept the certificate from Aruba networks; this will setup your encrypted connection. Most devices will only ask you this the first time you connect, unless you delete or forget the connection.
If this is the first time you have connected your device to the JSC network (either JSC-Guest or JSC-Secure), you will need to register your device. Open a web browser. The JSC Campus Manager registration page will come up, if it doesn’t enter the www.jsc.edu site in the address line and the registration page should come up. Using the JSC Users option, follow the on screen instructions to register your device.
When registering over the wireless network, you will need to close out your browser and disconnect and reconnect to the wireless network, after receiving a message that the registration was successful.
