Description of the Major
Music majors receive in-depth experience in theory, composition, performance, music education, and studio recording. A Jazz/Commercial concentration is available for those who wish to combine performance skills with business and technical expertise. Accepted majors audition during the first year as part of the BA in music. Majors have a variety of performance opportunities, recitals, ensembles, choir, band, applied lessons, musicals and a very active music club.
