JSC Welcomes Back Students
8.25.08 New and returning Johnson State College students were welcomed by the college community on Monday, August 25, 2008 during the college's annual Opening Convocation ceremony. New students processed from the SHAPE Facility to the Dibden Center for the Arts, cheered by faculty, staff and fellow students. Full Story
Vermont Election Candidates Featured in JSC Political Forums
8.19.08 Vermont candidates in the November 2008 election will be featured in political forums this fall at Johnson State College. Participants include candidates for lieutenant governor, governor, attorney general, and secretary of state. Full Story
Lafrenz Joins JSC Soccer Coaching Staff
8.18.08 Former JSC soccer standout Andrew Lafrenz will join the Badgers coaching staff as the assistant for both the men's and women's soccer teams this year. Lafrenz, a three-year lettermen for the JSC soccer team, graduated in 2000 with a B.A. in Arts/English. Full Story
Graves to Lead JSC Women's Tennis
7.22.08 Joanna Graves has been named the new head coach of the Johnson State College women's tennis team. She joins the Badgers athletic department after winning Vermont Division II State Championships in 2005, 2006, and 2008 at Stowe High School as their Girls Varsity Tennis Coach.

JSC Student Photographers' Work to be Shown at Vermont Folklife Center
6.25.08 JSC professor and acclaimed photographer John Miller's advanced photography and digital media students spent a semester getting to know and photographing the residents at the Craftsbury Community Care Center. These images will be displayed as part of the Vermont Folklife Center's Vision and Voices Project in an exhibition called Time Well Spent, running from June 25 - September 6, 2008.Learn more
