Community Services

The Johnson State College Library and Learning Center serves nearly 800 Lamoille County residents each year. Our state-of-the-art facility offers internet access and quiet, comfortable spaces for study. The Alice Whiting Children’s Reading Room houses an ever-growing collection of children’s books. Built in 1996, the LLC offers:

  • More than 112,000 volumes
  • Electronic access to thousands of journals
  • 12 computer workstations connected to a global network of information resources
  • Quiet study areas
  • A 24-hour study room

Additionally, members of the local community are welcome to borrow circulating materials from the Johnson State College Library. To begin borrowing, please come to the library and purchase a guest card for $1.00.
