Give to JSC
Above are images from the Willey Library and Learning Center dedication ceremony on September 12, 2011, honoring the generosity of alumnus Richard Willey '71 and his wife Rosalind Weiss, who gave the college a $1 million gift in the form of an irrevocable bequest. The gift will be divided between two endowments at the college: the JSC Library Endowment and the Julia V. and Ervin L. Willey Scholarship Endowment.
Why Give?
The support of JSC alumni, parents and friends is critical to the future of Johnson State College. Your generosity will allow JSC to continue providing outstanding educational experiences to JSC students for years to come.
At JSC, we are committed first and foremost to education as a life-changing process — a process that can move people toward goals that will evolve during their engagement with JSC and sustain them throughout their lives.
Milestones Reached
JSC's endowment reached $1 million in 2006, capping a decade of growth. Less than three years later, generous donors enabled us to surpass the $2 million mark, expanding our ability to provide scholarships to deserving students and provide life-changing educational opportunities across our curriculum. Thanks to everyone who who helped us reach these milestones!
Please keep in mind that when you give to JSC, you can allocate your donation to specific areas, such as:
- The Annual Fund
- The Scholarship Fund
- President's Fund for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
- The General Fund
- The Athletic Fund
- SERVE Service Learning Fund
- The Visual Arts Campaign Fund
