The JSC Theater Department presents two classic productions in one week: the intense drama Agnes of God and the comedy classic The Odd Couple. Tickets: $5
Eco-Music Big Band
Wednesday, February 19 at 8 p.m.
The 16-piece Eco-Music Big Band includes some of the nation's most acclaimed jazz musicians. They will perform pieces by two legendary big bad composers: Cal Massey's The Black Liberation Movement Suite and Fred Ho's The Revolutionary Gardens of Harlem Suite: A Tribute to Clifford Thornton. Part of JSC's celebration of Black History Month. Free and open to the public.
Exposé of the NSA
Thursday, March 6 at 7 p.m.
Edward Snowden. Julian Assange. Kim Dot-Com. The most wanted digital criminals of the 21st Century. As the global police state continues to evolve, how are we to know the government is really letting them roam free? JSC alums Eric R. Hill (writer and producer) and Elizabeth Thompson (director) present this visceral one-act play based on current events and conjecture about the closed-door dealings operating under the seal of the Natiional Security Agency. Free and open to the public.
All Star JAMboree
Thursday, March 13 at 7 p.m.
Music featuring Ray Paczkowski, Greg Matses, Gabe Jarrett, Rob Morse and super-special guests laying down funky original grooves and instrumental rock classics. Free and open to the public.
Wednesday, April 23 at 1 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday, April 24-26 at 7 p.m.
Winner of a Tony Award for Best Play, the Academy Award for Best Film, and triumphant in recent revivals in the West End and on Broadway, this provocative work weaves a confrontation between mediocrity and genius into a tale of breathtaking dramatic power. Professor Russell Longtin stars as Amadeus, with Patrick Houle directing. Tickets: $5.
