The Castle Theatre Company Presents: Shakespeare's Macbeth

England's Castle Theatre Company presents Shakespeare's classic tragedy about the wild, consuming ambition of one man, his rash and bloody decisions, his ruthless and manipulative wife, and his breathless spiral through the dark and magical world of the Scottish Highlands. Add witches, ghostly visions, murders, sword fights, and some of the most famous speeches in theater, and you have a cauldron full of mesmerizing and memorable drama. Produced by the CTC's Vermont partner, Northern Stage. This event is free and open to the public.
Bounty of the County: Lamoille County Music Night

The best musicians in Lamoille County, under one roof for one night only! Local musicians perform various styles and genres. Cash prizes and other give-aways, too! A night to remember. Donations will be accepted.
Author Lecture: Warren St. John
Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 8 p.m.
Author of JSC's 2010 Common Reading book, Outcasts United, Warren St. John will be on campus to discuss his book and his experience writing it. The book chronicles the story of Coach Luma Mufleh (who will speak at JSC in October) and her work with young refugees living in Clarkston, Georgia, a small town on the outskirts of Atlanta. This event is free and open to the public.
Vermont Symphony Orchestra: Made in Vermont Tour

The Vermont Symphony Orchestra makes its annual stop at Dibden Center for the Arts. Conducted by Anthony Princiotti, this year's performance shines the spotlight on several principal players. Albert Brouwer performs a flute concerto by CPE Bach, and French horn player Shelagh Abate solos in Rachmaninoff's "Vocalise."
