LECTURE: 1 DEAD IN ATTIC AUTHOR CHRIS ROSE
Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 7 p.m.

1 dead in attic is a collection of stories by Times-Picayune columnist Chris Rose, recounting the harrowing months of life in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. One reviewer wrote, "Celebrated as a local treasure and heaped with national praise, Rose provides a rollercoaster ride of observation, commentary, emotion, tragedy and even humor — in a way that only he could find in a devastated wasteland." JSC chose 1 dead in attic for its Common Reading this year The author will sign books after the lecture.

This event is free and open to the public. To learn about upcoming Common Reading events, visit www.jsc.edu/CommonReadingEvents
