Campus Environmental Focus
The Johnson State College community continually seeks new ways to reduce the environmental impact of the college's operations and to help create a more ecologically sustainable society. In addition to instituting a number of campus greening projects, such as a campus composting program, the bio-diesel fueled "Badger Bullet" bus, the replacement of incandescent light bulbs with more energy-efficient lights and more, JSC also prioritizes environmental education. Not only are environmental classes part of the core curriculum, but there are a variety of course options for students interested in further study and environmentally focused campus clubs and organizations.
