On Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27, JSC traveled to Waterville, Maine to take second place at the NAC championships.
Freshman Jarryd Audette won his singles match to earn the number two singles flight title for JSC. Audette finished his freshmen campaign with a 12-2 record in singles play.
Senior Pat Kantlhner won his number five singles flight match for the Badgers. The win capped off a perfect 13-0 record during singles play for the senior.
Senior Cameron MacDonald and sophomore Justin Kutler teamed up to win the number three doubles flight championship for JSC.
Friday, April 25, JSC stayed at home to host the Green Mountain College Eagles in a doubleheader. JSC took both matches by the score of 5-2.
JSC was paced by their seniors in singles play. MacDonald, Fink, and Kantlhner each picked up a singles win. Fink/Kantlhner and MacDonald/Kutler led JSC with a victory each in doubles play.
In the second match JSC stole the show and dominated singles play. Audette, MacDonald, Fink, and Kantlhner all earned victories. Splitting in doubles play with GMC the team of Kantlhner and sophomore Django Koenig picked up the win.
The Badgers were home once again to take on the Eagles of Green Mountain College on Tuesday, Apr, 22. and again JSC took both matches by the score of 5-2 in each match.
In the first match JSC picked up singles wins from MacDonald, Fink, and Kantlhner. The teams of MacDonald/Kutler, and Fink/Kantlhner each picked up doubles wins for the Badgers.
In match two, Audette, MacDonald, Fink, and Kutler paced JSC during singles play. JSC split again with the Eagles in doubles play and again the team of Kantlhner/Koenig picked up the win.
JSC continued their fine play on Sunday, April 20, where they defeated Wheelock College 7-2 at home.
Audette, MacDonald, Fink, Kantlhner, and Kutler all picked up singles win for JSC.
The Badgers dominated doubles play as well on the afternoon. Fink/Kantlhner and Kutler/MacDonald earned doubles victories.
Saturday, April 19, JSC was home to face off against Lesley University where the Badgers defeated the Lynx 6-3.
Picking up singles wins for the Badgers were Audette, MacDonald, Fink, and Koenig. JSC took two-out-of three doubles matches from Lesley. The teams of Kulter/Koenig and MacDonald/Fink propelled JSC to the victory.
