JSC was back home on Tuesday, April 15, to host Lyndon State. The Badgers handled the Hornets easily by the score of 8-1.
Freshmen Jarryd Audette, senior Mike Fink, sophomore Justin Cutler, senior Cameron MacDonald, and senior Pat Kantlehner all racked up singles wins for JSC.
The Badgers swept doubles play picking up all three wins. Gendron/Audette, MacDonald/Fink, and Kantlhener and sophomore Django Koenig earned the doubles victory.
The Badgers snapped their three- game losing streak by defeating Green Mountain College 10-6 in Poultney, Vt. on Thursday, April. 17 in a non-conference game.
Sophomores Billy Noyes and Erik Tillberg led the way with three goals, three assists, and two goals, three assists respectively.
Junior Matt Riani added two goals and sophomore Steve Noyes had a goal and an assist. Senior Matt Martin and sophomore Mike Murphy rounded out the offense for JSC with a goal each.
Solid once again between the pipes, Senior Evan Pestone made 13 saves with 11 of them coming in the second half.

At the end of each season, the countdown to the next starts seconds after the champion is crowned. There isn’t really an off-season for the fans or the news reporters. Whether it is trades, the great ones saying good-bye, or the always eye-popping off-the-field scandals, there is always something to hear and read about.
I guess my question would have to be, which of these four major sports has the largest and loudest anticipated start to the season?
