JSC’s Writing Proficiency Exam will be administered Thursday, March 13, from 7 till 10 p.m., and Sunday, March 16, from 9 a.m. till noon. Exam questions will be available on the Portal next week, as well as a schedule of prep sessions. Students enrolled in Exposition and Analysis are required to TAKE the exam in order to receive a grade in the class, but their passing or failing will have no effect on the final grade. Students who fail to take the exam will receive an incomplete in the class, but they will receive their grades once they have attempted it.
Students who fail the Proficiency Exam twice are required to pass The Self-Sufficient Writer in order to graduate.
