According to GlobalChefs.com, “In most countries chocolate is associated with romance, and with good reason, it was thought by the Aztec’s [sic] to have aphrodisiac qualities, invigorating men and making women less inhibited.
So when it was first introduced to Europe, it’s small wonder that chocolate quickly became the ideal gift for a man to bestow on a loved one.” It’s even been said that eating chocolate can mimic the feeling of being in love. Well, if eating it feels that good, then bathing in it must be mind-altering.
Please remember that the “use by” date of the ingredients is the same for the body treatments. Each of these recipes makes one batch; if more is left after the treatments, refrigerate. Also, as with trying any new beauty treatment, always do a small patch test on the forearm or back of your hand before applying the mask or product to your face, just to be safe!
Until next time,
