Women's Softball Coaching Staff

Head Coach - Robert Gervais

Head Coach Robert Gervais will enter his third season at Johnson State after leading the softball program back to the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) playoffs in 2010.  The Badgers fell in a hard-faught, extra-inning affair at the University of Maine-Farmington and finished the season 11-14 overall, 4-10 in the NAC.

Coach Gervais has had an immediate impact on the program leading JSC to consecutive NAC playoff appearances for the first time since joining the NCAA in 2001.

Coach Gervais, a 1993 graduate of Johnson State College where he was a standout catcher for two seasons for the Badger baseball team, is currently the Technology Coordinator for Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union.  Coach Gervais has 20 years of various high school coaching experience and 15 years of teaching and administration from the kindergarten through senior high school levels.

Most recently Coach Gervais, who earned his Masters Degree from South Dakota State University in 2005 in Educational Technology, has served as the Assistant Softball Coach at Enosburg High School since 1999 and has helped the program to three Vermont Division III State Championships.  Gervais is also the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Enosburg and plans to remain in that position.

Johnson State will return a very good core of players from the 2010 team and will look to continue to climb up the North Atlantic Conference standings.
