Head Coach Jim Roy

Coach James RoyJim Roy returned to Johnson State College, his alma mater, as Men's and Women's Head Cross Country Coach in August 2000. As a former runner for JSC, he continues to bring a wealth of experience to the position.

 

Entering his 10th season, the longest tenure of any active head coach at JSC, Coach Roy has led the cross country program with pride, dedication, and an enthusiastic spirit.

 

Roy helped JSC to a second-place finish in the 2005 North Atlantic Conference Championships. The program returns several of their top runners from last season and are optimistic for another run at a conference title in 2009.

 

Additionally, Coach Roy recently began the Badger Cross Country Clinic, which hosted cross country runners from several local high schools. He also serves as an educator at nearby Lamoille Union High School.
