Group Exercise Classes

Each semester, you can find a range of different exercise classes to help meet your fitness goals while having fun!
Classes are on a first-come, first-served basis, unless otherwise noted. Community members may also participate in fitness classes.
Fall 2008 Group Class Dates
Classes will start August 25 and run until December 18, 2008. Classes will not meet during semester breaks.
Spinning Classes
Spinning is a great way to increase your level of fitness. Classes are geared for all abilities — it's about reaching your individual goals.
Mondays
12:15 p.m. with Ellen
4 p.m. with Barb (1/2 credit class)
Tuesdays
8:15 a.m. with Barb
3 p.m. with Marie
5:30 p.m. with Wendy
Wednesdays
4 p.m. with Wendy (1/2 credit class)
Thursdays
8:15 a.m. with Barb
5:30 p.m. with Wendy
Aqua Aerobics
Enjoy a high-intensity workout without all the impact on your joints and bones. These classes use the water as your resistance in building strength and cardio.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
4 p.m. with Janet
Fitness Swimming
Mix up your fitness routine by getting wet! Join other swimmers of various abilities in a calorie-burning workout. Use such tools as kickboards and pull buoys to work on stroke technique.
Wednesdays at 6 p.m.
Body Bar Classes
The Body Bar is the most versatile, simple, effective pieces of fitness equipment. This class using weighted bars will help you slim and trim by introducing numerous strength and cardio moves.

Nordic Walking
Adding walking poles to your treks will burn more calories, pump up your cardio, reduce stress, strengthen your upper body and much more.
