Wulfson Named NAC Rookie of the Week

Freshman goalkeeper Jenna Wulfson (Shelburne, Vt./Champlain Valley Union) has been named North Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week. Wulfson led Johnson State to a 2-0 week, both wins shutouts.
Wulfson made a pair of saves in a non-conference victory over Paul Smith's on October 4 and the made 11 saves in a big 1-0 North Atlantic Conference road win over Elms College on October 6 to keep the Badgers playoff hopes very much alive.
Wulfson has three shutouts on the season in pacing JSC to a 6-5 overall record, tying the teams win total in 2006. She has made 46 saves in 11 games for a 1.60 goals against average and a .767 save percentage.
Johnson State has a pair of NAC contests this weekend as they host Lesley University at 1:00 pm on Saturday and then Becker College on Sunday, also at 1:00 pm.
