JSC Falls to CSJ

Johnson State softball fell to the College of St. Joseph (Vt.) on Thursday in both ends of a doubleheader, 8-0 and 11-2. The losses drop the Badgers to 0-12 overall and 0-6 in the North Atlantic Conference.
GAME 1: CSJ 8, JSC 0
Melissa Pike hurled a two hitter, striking out 11 for CSJ while Irene Tompkins had three hits.
GAME 2: CSJ 11, JSC 2
Lisa Lawrence matched Pike's two-hitter with one of her own for the Saints and added 10 strikeouts. Vicky Guetti had a three-run homer and two more hits to pace the CSJ offense.
