Riani, Tillberg Named to NAC All-Tourney Team

A pair of Johnson State College lacrosse student-athletes, Matt Riani (Jericho, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union) and Erik Tillberg (Randolph, Vt./Randolph), were named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Tournament Team on Saturday at the conclusion of the NAC Tournament won for the sixth consecutive time by Mount Ida College.
Riani and Tillberg help lead Johnson State to their first-ever NAC Playoff Semifinal in 2009. The team defeated Emerson College 20-10 in the Quarterfinals but fell to Castleton in the semi's 15-7.
In the two games Tillberg, a junior, was an assassin scoring a team-high nine goals and assisting on three others while picking up three groundballs. Senior captain Riani scored four goals and had three assists while snatching up seven groundballs.
