Parker had a tremendous first season of college golf for the Badgers. On September 19 Parker bested the field by three shots with a 77 at Beaver Meadow in Concord, New Hampshire. Parker’s again shot at 77 at Jay Peak Golf Course on September 26, winning by a whopping 13 strokes and helping JSC to the team victory. Finally, on September 27 and again leading the Badgers to the team win, Parker shot a 73 at Killington’s Green Mountain National outshooting the field by four strokes.
Parker, a Business Management major, was the low-scorer in each of the Badgers eight events this fall, the program’s first since the 1980's. Head Coach Lou Jarvis said of Parker, “ he was steady all season for us. He was in the 70’s every round but his last and was the anchor of our team.”
