Jarryd Audette Named NAC Player of the Week

Johnson State College freshman men's tennis player Jarryd Audette (Fr., Underhill, Vt./Mount Mansfield Union) has been named North Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for helping JSC to a 2-0 week.

 

Audette, a business major, went 2-0 in both singles and doubles play on the week. 

 

Playing at the #2 singles flight Audette defeated his Lyndon State opponent 6-3, 6-1 on Saturday in a 6-3 team win over the Hornets.  He also teamed with Nick Gendron (Sr., Colchester, Vt./Colchester) at #1 doubles to defeat their LSC foe's 8-4.

 

Audette came back on Sunday and beat his Mitchell College counterpart 8-3 and teamed with Gendron for 8-2 doubles win to help the Badgers achieve a hard-faught 5-4 team win over the Pequots.

 

Audette has won three straight singles matches and is now 3-2 overall while he and Gendron have won two in a row and are 2-3 overall.
