Mountain Bike the Kingdom Trails

Saturday, September 4      Leave SHAPE at 9 a.m.

Explore the biggest network of trails in Vermont. Rides for all abilities — bring your own bike. Pack some snacks, water and bring your muscles to propel you up, down and around these marvelous trails. Trail pass will be provided. Learn more here: Kingdom Trails Association

JSC's Annual Disc Golf Tourney

Thursday, September 9      All Day

Join other Frolf'n enthusiasts in a duel of skills; grab a join friend and try something new. Check out JSC's 18-hole course, one of the few courses on college campuses! Discs will be provided. Prizes awarded. Schedule your tee time by e-mailing Joshua.Bossin@jsc.edu

Backpack a Section of the Long Trail

September 17 - 19      Friday-Sunday

 Enjoy this foliage expedition along Vermont's Green Mountains. This trip is cosponsored by the JSC Outing Club and all experience levels are encouraged to participate. Equipment available. Meet new people and build memories! (Please sign-up in advance with Wendy Brothers.)

Paddle Green River Reservoir

September 24 - 26     Friday-Sunday

Enjoy the remote setting of one of Vermont's most pristine places. Paddle to your campsite, spend the day, night or two nights with other JSC students. Equipment and food provided. This trip is co-sponsored by the JSC Outing Club (Please sign-up in advance)

Celebrate Octoberfest Week at JSC by finding alternatives to drug and alcohol use. Get discounts on your Jay Peak College Pass. Get pumped for the winter with this year's ski/snowboard flick. Many chances to get FREE swag. Prime campus kick-off to the upcoming winter!

Get Rocked! JSC Bouldering Competition

Wednesday, October 27    Starts at 5:30 p.m.

Check out JSC's climbing wall and see what really goes on downstairs. All abilities are welcome to participate in this friendly competition. Start practicing today! $3 donation to the Outing Club. Prizes awarded and snacks will be available to get you through the event.

Stick n' Puck at Green Mountain Arena

 Thursday, November 4   8 - 9 p.m.
Thursday, November 11   8:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Grab your skates, stick, helmet and a friend. head to the local ice arena. Skates can be provided, all abilities welcome to participate. Van will leave from JSC SHAPE 1/2 hour before ice time begins.

What Are You Training 4?  3-Hour Spinning Adventure at JSC

 Saturday, November 13   10 a.m.

Set your goals this fall and train to complete this three hour Spinning adventure.  Join other enthusiasts in a game of SURVIVOR. This ride will test your limits in a Race Day event. (Reserve your bike today! $5 for JSC students and employees, $10 for outside community)
