The Clinic
The Johnson State College Gym Games Day is for both boys and girls, grades K through 5. The day is organized and led by Michael Osborne (B.S. Health Sciences/Physical Education), Assistant Director of Athletics and Head Men's Basketball Coach at Johnson State College.
With members of the JSC men's basketball teams assisting and a certified life guard on duty, Gym Games Day consists of games and challenges you would experience during physical education class, as well as a healthy snack break, a pool swim, and pizza and soft drinks for lunch.
Examples of the activities are kickball, capture the flag, tag games, sharks and minnows, basketball, indoor soccer and more. Activities vary for both age groups.
Location
The camps will be located at the SHAPE Facility on the Johnson State College campus.
Schedule
- Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
- Each group has the opportunity for a pool swim during the morning.
- There is a healthy snack break at 10 a.m. for all participants.
- Lunch is served at approximately 11:45 a.m. for all participants.
- Game play sessions occur throughout the course of the day.
- Parents should arrive and pick up children at 2 p.m.
