Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

A student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is a committee made up of student-athletes assembled to provide insight on the student-athlete experience. The SAAC also offers input on the rules, regulations and polices that affect student-athletes' lives on NCAA member institution campuses.

In addition, Johnson State College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee has taken on new purpose over the past years. The group consists of representatives from each varsity sport at Johnson State College. Members meet regularly to:

•Promote athletics within the campus and Lamoille County community
•Serve as a liaison between the Athletics administration and the student-athletes at JSC
•Review and discuss all JSC and NCAA athletic policies
•Serve within the community to benefit others

The group is currently preparing a coat drive to benefit Lamoille County.
