Alumni Association
The Johnson State College Alumni Association exists to support and promote the interests of the college, to strengthen loyalty to the college, to provide opportunities for growth and fellowship, and to promote pride of affiliation among JSC alumni. The Alumni Association is governed by the JSC Alumni Council. Major programs include:
Alumni Scholarships
The Council makes yearly grants of scholarships to students who demonstrate both strong academic records and leadership skills, and have financial need. Special attention is given to students whose parents or grandparents are alumni. Funds are donated annually by the alumni/ae.
Alumni Grants
Alumni annual contributions also allow the Council to make other grants, such as support for the college's award-winning SERVE Program. Grants help support students in their community service projects, which provide local assistance, send groups to work in city shelters for the homeless, and provide international experience for students working with rural projects in this country and the Caribbean. For the last several years, grants have also helped support the Senior Dinner for members of the graduating class.
