Interviewing for Undergraduate Admission to JSC
Interviews are not required for admission to Johnson State College, however, if you plan to visit campus, you are strongly encouraged to meet with an admissions counselor. Interviews are available during the weekdays, and can be arranged by contacting the Admissions Office at 800-635-2356, 802-635-1219 or by e-mailing us at JSCadmissions@jsc.edu.

Portfolio Reviews
A portfolio review is not required for the B.A. in Art, but students planning to pursue a degree in the B.F.A. in Studio Arts will need to submit a portfolio once admitted to JSC. After a successful portfolio review (generally in a student’s sophomore or junior year at JSC) and upon the recommendation by the studio art faculty and approval by the chairperson, a student will be admitted to the B.F.A. program.
