Transfer to JSC

Looking for a Change?

Whether your first choice of college hasn't turned out to be the right fit, or you're looking to finish your degree after community college or time away, Johnson State College is a great place to be a transfer student.

Transfer students represent a large portion of our on-campus student population and in our statewide External Degree Program (EDP). But no matter where you're coming from or which program you choose, we'll help you have aseamless transition into the JSC community and a positive learning experience on your way to a college degree.

Options for Transfer Students

1. Campus Option — This is the typical enrollment choice of most transfer students. As a campus-based transfer student, you'll take classes on the JSC campus in Johnson, Vermont. Here's what you'll need to apply.

2. External Degree Program (EDP) Option — This program
is available to students who already have 60 college credits
and are seeking to complete a bachelor's degree. The EDP
offers five JSC majors on a statewide basis through a
combination of online and weekend courses. Learn more about the External Degree Program here.
