Scholarships for Part-Time External Degree Program Students

Part-time External Degree Program students are invited to apply for scholarships to help fund their efforts to complete their undergraduate degree.

 

Application Requirements

In order to apply, you must be enrolled as a degree-seeking student for no less than 6 credits in each the fall and spring semesters for a total of no less than 12 credits for the academic year, including no fewer than six credits in the fall and six credits in the spring.


Union Bank's EDP Scholarships: NEW DEADLINE, scholarships awarded starting spring of 2010
Awards: $250 - $500
The Union Bank has established this scholarship to support part-time adult students enrolled in JSC's External Degree Program. To be eligible for this scholarship you must live within the Union Bank's service areas of Lamoille, Caledonia or Franklin Counties. You must be be enrolled for at least 6 credits in two of the three periods of  enrollment: spring 2010, summer 2010 or fall 2010. Awards are given based on academic achievement, evidence of leadership and financial need. Your essay must address how long you have lived in this area, where you graduated from high school and your career goals. One reference is required, preferably from your EDP advisor.

Alumni Association Part-Time EDP Scholarships
Awards: $250

These scholarships are awarded annually by the JSC Alumni Association to support part-time students in Johnson State College's External Degree Program. Awards are given based on academic achievement, evidence of leadership and/or community service and financial need. Students must be currently enrolled in the External Degree Program. An essay describing your academic interests, goals and financial need is required. One reference is required, preferably from your EDP advisor. 2010-2011 Deadline to be announced at a later date for this scholarship.
