Scholarships for Part-Time External Degree Program Students

Part-time External Degree Program (EDP) students who are currently enrolled are invited to apply for scholarships to help fund their efforts to complete their undergraduate degree.

The deadline to apply for the 2012-13 academic year has passed.

Scholarship decisions will be sent to JSC email accounts by January 20, 2012.

Out of fairness to all, no late applications will be accepted.

 

Available Scholarships

Union Bank's EDP Scholarships
Awards: $250 - $500
To be eligible for this scholarship you must live within the Union Bank's service areas of Lamoille, Caledonia or Franklin Counties. Awards are given based on academic achievement, potential in business and civic leadership and financial need. Your essay must address how long you have lived in this area, where you graduated from high school and your career goals.


Alumni Association Part-Time EDP Scholarships
Awards: $250

These scholarships are awarded annually by the JSC Alumni Association. Awards are given based on academic achievement, evidence of leadership and/or community service and financial need. Please address these requirements in your essay.

 

Application Procedure

  • Complete the scholarship application.
  • Write an essay specific to the requirements listed for each scholarship you are applying for.
  • Provide one recommendation; choose from your EDP advisor, a professor or an employer
  • Take at least 6 credits during two of the three following periods of enrollment:

    - 2012 spring semester

    - 2012 summer session

    - 2012 fall semester
