Graduate Student Loans
Federal loans for graduate study are available to students enrolled in graduate programs. The borrower's need will be determined by the Financial Aid Office, based on his or her FAFSA.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, borrowers must:
- Be enrolled in at least half-time study in a graduate program
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Be credit approved or apply with a credit-approved endorser
Loan Details
- The maximum subsidized amount available for graduate borrowers is $8,500.
- The maximum unsubsidized amount available for graduate borrowers is $12,000.
- Loans have a fixed interest rate of 8.5 %.
