External Degree Program (EDP) Application Instructions

Before applying, students are encouraged to speak with the advisor at their local CCV site to gain fuller understanding of the External Degree Program and how it may meet their individual needs. Interested students should call or write the External Degree Program for the telephone number of the advisor in their community.

How to Apply

To apply to begin your studies for the fall, spring or summer semester, please submit:

  • A completed EDP Application for Admission form (You can download the application form here.)
  • A $37 non-refundable application fee*
  • Official transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended
  • Personal statement and (optional) resume

*The application fee is waived for transfer students who have matriculated at or earned 12 credits from any of the Vermont State Colleges.

Application Deadlines

For fall admission: August 1
For spring admission: December 1
For summer admission: April 1

Financial Aid

To be considered for financial aid for the fall, spring or summer semesters, please complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by May 1.
