Faculty Profile: Andrea Perham
Andrea Perham has been chair of Johnson State College's Department of Writing and Literature since 1995, and has a long association with the department as an assistant professor (1986-1988) and associate professor (1989-1998). Andrea also served as dean of Student Affairs (1983-1986). She has been a frequent member of numerous JSC policy review, faculty, accreditation, planning, and task force boards overseeing a wide range programs and services at the college. She has developed and coordinated many of the college's literary programs, and presented numerous papers on writing and authors. She was the managing editor of the college's literary magazine Green Mountains Review (1986-1988), and has worked as a freelance writer, proofreader and editorial consultant. Andrea has a Ph.D in English literature from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, a master's in English literature from Seton Hall University in New Jersey, and a bachelor's degree in American literature from Middlebury College, Vermont. She lives in Greensboro.
