Sometimes your academic interests can't be contained within the confines of a single discipline. And in our experience, it is at the intersection of disciplines where learning takes on great depth and richness. It is a place where students are motivated to pursue knowledge even further. It is a place where career goals are set.
This belief forms the foundation of the interdisciplinary nature of all of our courses of study. It has also resulted in our offering two interdepartmental degrees: a B. A. in Liberal Arts for all undergraduate students and a B. S. in General Studies for External Degree Program participants. Both programs enable students to explore the connections between ideas, events and thinkers in a number of academic disciplines, forming a solid knowledge base upon which you can build.
