External Degree Program in Education
Johnson State College offers a B. A. in elementary education through our External Degree Program (EDP). This degree option leads to state teaching licensure at the K-6 level. To meet state requirements, this degree must be accompanied by a 30-credit concentration in the liberal arts or sciences, or by a second B. A. in liberal arts. Two student teaching experiences are provided.
