CIS-1041 Microcomputer Applications I

This course is designed to introduce the student to the world of microcomputers. The course focuses on software. In particular, the student will learn to use Windows, and Microsoft Office (including Word®, Excel®, Power Point® and Access), the Internet (e-mail and World Wide Web software) and elementary web page design. By the end of the course, the student will be able to write documents, create and use spread sheets, develop graphic presentations, have a basic understanding of relational data bases, access the Internet, send e-mail, and create their own web page.
